Disturbing news yesterday related to the provincial election, with the arrest of a man in Deer Lake outside a political candidate’s office. #nlpoli

I find news about these variants that are more easily transmissible to be really unnerving.

Remembering this lady today, on #HolocaustRemembranceDay . Her name is Jeannine Burk &, as a child, she survived the Holocaust. Her father was killed at Auschwitz. I met her at the @WWIImuseum  in New Orleans last January where my son & I had a conversation with her.

She told us she didn't like what she was seeing with deep divisions in U.S. society. She said to my son & me: "It's happening again... I'm scared. " She passed last summer. May she rest in peace. Her memory is a blessing. @Rachelleburk  #HolocaustMemorialDay

@StringerElwood  You make a good point. On the flip side, people should also remind themselves that having a mental illness does not mean someone will become out of control or worse.

This is so awful. Entirely preventable, but still my heart goes out to them. This Nova Scotia couple is on the hook for medical bills in Florida. Their travel insurance won't cover them because of a change in dates of travel. I wish them a full recovery.

If you want to hear how your candidates in Humber-Bay of Islands handled the question of public/private partnerships for construction of NL govt buildings, tune in here to listen to our candidates discussion from earlier this week. #nlpoli

If you're a student (or parent) concerned about keeping up on high school math during #covid19nfld , Simon Jansen, a tutor in Corner Brook is making his instructional videos available for FREE for Math 1201, 2201, & 3201. Very handy. Find them here:

#BellLetsTalk about the number of people — young & old — who are dying by suicide in Newfoundland & Labrador alone. And let’s talk about how to stop the carnage.

Life is hard. We all have stuff we're dealing with. You don't know what someone else is facing. You can't solve their problems. But you can always be kind. #BellLetsTalk

Incredible to see how patient Celine Dion was with this fan. Much respect.

Help me spread the word by retweeting this: We're asking Newfoundlanders & Labradorians living away to call in a Christmas song request for family back home. The number to call is (709) 637-1172. We will play song requests on the radio on Xmas Eve. (Photo: Mark Gray in Bonavista)

People have been asking for days why travellers from out of province don't need to self-isolate, instead of just travellers from out of the country. THIS HAS CHANGED TODAY. Anyone coming from outside of NL, from anywhere in Canada or the world, MUST self-isolate. #covid19nfld

After 2 miscarriages & then the relief & joy of having a healthy baby boy, I found myself suffering from post-partum depression, but didn't find my health care provider receptive to my efforts to talk about it. We can do better. #BellLetsTalk

Wow. Just look at how fast & furiously the #BellLetsTaIk  tweets are coming in. Take time today to read some of them.

I’ve had several reports of people who’ve flown back to Nfld not self-isolating. And I’ve seen people driving across the border say they were told they didn’t have self-isolate. This is WRONG!! Please self-isolate. #covid19nfld
