White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tells reporters in first briefing: "There will be times when we see things differently in this room...That's okay. That's part of our democracy, and rebuilding trust with the American people will be central to our focus in the press office"
A serious proposal: All major news organizations should temporarily replace their White House reporters with medical reporters so that the daily briefing is primarily about public safety. The political reporters can ask the press office about squabbles with governors etc.
It was odd that the White House banned cameras and audio at today’s press briefing. Usually, they only ban facts.
Speaking of bullying. I don't know how she does it but she does but goes into the lion's den that is the daily White House press briefing and deals with serious disrespect.
Every White House press briefing question today should begin with “Why are you lying?” “Why are you lying about your family separation policy?”
