Feb 24: Heads up NOAA Weather Radio Users! Our weekly radio test has been postponed to 11 AM tomorrow, February 25th, due to weather. If you see an annoying alarm/message, it is because it has been more than 7 days since the last test. That will go away tomorrow! #flwx

For the weather radio users out there: Due to the ongoing Winter Weather Advisory and current snowfall we will NOT be conducting the 11:00AM weekly weather radio test. The Winter Weather Advisory expires to 6PM so we will conduct the 7PM radio test.

NOAA Weather Radio Users: The Silver City transmitter is down for maintenance. We will update this tweet (as a reply) when it is back on-line.

NOAA Weather Radio for OKC (162.4 MHz) is broadcasting with reduced power. Technicians have ordered parts, but it is unknown when full power will be restored. Central OK users may be able to receive broadcasts from Chickasha, Stillwater, Enid or Wewoka.

At this time, all NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) transmitters in the San Juan Forecast Area (St. Croix, Maricao and Aguas Buenas) are non-operational until further notice. Although severe weather is not anticipated, NWR users should refer to social media for any alerts. #prwx  #usviwx 

Heads up to NOAA Weather Radio users in the Show Low area - the Show Low (Porter Mtn) transmitter will cease broadcast this Monday, 3/12. Tune into Greens Peak @ 162.525 MHz. Please help spread the word if this is you. #azwx

The Homestead NOAA Weather Radio (162.425 Mhz) will be off the air periodically this week for maintenance. Most users in the affected area can listen to the Miami NWR (162.55 Mhz) if needed.

FYI- For users of our phone tree recordings and NOAA weather radio, mountain forecasts are temporarily unavailable due to technical glitch.

NOAA Weather Radio users- several transmitters have experienced an unexpected outage. We are aware of the problem and working on a fix.
