Parts of the #Philippines  are trying to recover from Typhoon Vamco, one of the deadliest typhoons to hit the country. At least 67 people have died. The deadly storm moved onto #Vietnam , where thousands have been evacuated.

Typhoon Vamco killed at least 7 people in the Philippines and caused major flooding in Manila. Streets turned into rivers. It is the 8th typhoon in 2 months, submerging thousands of homes. Many sought safety on rooftops waiting for rescue boats: "Nothing is left."

Hundreds of thousands of people have been evacuated and many are trapped on rooftops after Typhoon Vamco made landfall in the Philippines on Wednesday. It's impacting many of the communities that were devastated by Super Typhoon Goni just 10 days before.

Up to 42 people are dead in the Philippines after Typhoon Vamco caused flooding and landslides in and around Manila. About 30 others are missing. Many climbed up to their roofs to escape the fast rising floodwaters, which inundated or destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes.
