Mr Trump is the first US president to be impeached twice, after he was previously charged over his calls with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Get the latest from the US here 👇

Suddenly, in the waning days of his term, the collection of Trump's greatest audio hits gains a late entry. This one is even more pathetic and corrupt than his call to Zelensky. via @Newsday

“I got no concern,” Jordan said, arguing it was similar to Trump’s call to the Ukrainian president where he asked for probe into Bidens. “But you guys in the press and the Democrats are always gonna make a big issue of it just like you did with the call to Zelensky.”

i think one defining trump moment is that when the ukraine whistleblower complain emerged and then was documented by the phone call (which the white house released), he continued to in public make the exact same demand on zelensky as he had in private

“Trump’s call with Raffensperger echoes the famous call he held with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.”

We never heard a recording of Trump’s “do-us-a-favor” call with Ukraine President Zelensky. I imagine it sounded a lot like this.

It's almost novelistic, and a fairly heavy-handed fiction at that. Days before being forced from office Trump does a replay of the Zelensky phone call threatening an election official with jail if he doesn't change the numbers to say he won.

President Trump told Ukraine President Zelensky investigate Biden or else. Zelensky stood his ground. Trump told Georgia Secy of State Brad Raffensperger overturn election result or else. Raffensperger stood his ground. Under pressure you see what people are made of.

VOLODYMYR ZELENSKY SPEAKS: @JoeBiden , it seems to me, knows Ukraine better than the previous president,” said the Ukrainian president, who had a bit of, uh, history with TRUMP, adding that BIDEN “understands the difference between Ukraine & Russia.”

President Volodomyr Zelensky of Ukraine is moving on from his unwanted role in the impeachment of President Trump, saying in an interview that "they roped us in but I think we behaved with dignity"

?This is breaking news and it’s important. New documents show: 1. Ukraine aid was held just hours after the Trump/Zelensky “do us a favor” call 2. Internal notes show Trump’s direct involvement 3. Staff knew it was wrong, kept it secret

Before Chairman Adam Schiff gets a chance to make up another phone call between Presidents Trump and Zelensky, @DevinNunes  just read the entire transcript aloud. ?Volume up:

“There are 31 House Democrats in Trump won Congressional Districts. Those Dems will have to answer to their constituents come 2020. If you look at the facts, there’s no crime, there’s no witness, there’s no evidence, there’s no victim, President Zelensky said there was....

President Trump: “I want NOTHING. I want no quid pro quo. I want Zelensky to do what he ran on.”

Doesn’t matter what the Dems write. 4 facts will never change: -The call transcript shows no linkage -President Trump and President Zelensky both say no pressure -Ukraine didn’t know aid was held up at the time of the call -Ukraine never took any action to get aid released (1/3)

We now have both the April and July calls between President Trump and President Zelensky. Once again, no linkage of any kind. The WH has displayed unprecedented transparency. Meanwhile, Democrats haven’t even released all of the deposition transcripts.

Let's set the record straight: Trump wasn't working to help Ukraine root out corruption. On the July 25 call, he didn't ask Zelensky about any issue related to Ukraine's oligarchs. He did ask about the Bidens. Trump's only focus was his own personal, political gain.

My Republican colleagues would have the American public believe that Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch's testimony is not relevant to our impeachment inquiry. One person who thought she was relevant? President Trump, who brought her up in his July 25 call with Zelensky.

@Jim_ Jordan: You didn’t listen in on President Trump & Zelensky’s call? Taylor: I did not. Jordan: You’ve never talked with Chief of Staff Mulvaney? Taylor: I never did. Jordan: You’ve never met the President? Taylor: That’s correct. Jordan: And you’re their star witness.

My Republican colleagues may try to muddy the waters, but this fact is undisputed: On the July 25 call, Trump asked Zelensky to investigate the Bidens. There's no ambiguity about it. And Lt. Col. Vindman understood that ask as a demand.
