We’re facing a mental health crisis. Too many Americans lack access to the care they need, and millions live in an area with a shortage of mental health professionals. That’s why I’ve introduced a bill that utilizes telemedicine to expand access to mental health services.

Texas is adding doctors at a record pace. The doctor to patient ratio is at a 10-year high. This means better access to healthcare for Texans. Also I signed a law allowing rural hospitals to use tele-medicine services to have a doctor on call.
