As many as 25 patients succumbed to the infection, all of them from seven districts which have municipal corporation areas -- Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Junagadh.

State government clarifies new rates will be applicable to all private hospitals providing Covid treatment across state except those which are located Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot , Surat and Bhavnagar municipal corporation limits where charges have already been fixed.
