It was really useful to meet residents, Councillors, representatives from both @wrexhamcbc and @Go_CheshireWest , and @edwardtimpson to discuss issues and concerns relating to the recent flooding across the constituency as a result of Storm Christoph.

It has been two weeks since Storm Christoph hit the North West and caused flooding which forced hundreds of people out of their homes. In Lymm people are asking if more could have been done to prevent this from happening.

This is the scene in Ruthin in North Wales as Storm Christoph hit the UK causing flooding in some areas. Evacuations have begun for some residents in Greater Manchester who have been told to leave their homes as waters rise. Latest here:
Greater Manchester Police have declared a "major incident" in relation to Storm Christoph. "Heavy rainfall is expected from later today and that could cause flooding."
The Met Office has issued a ‘danger to life’ warning from Storm Christoph due to hit today. @KatyRickittITV is in Mytholmroyd in West Yorkshire where there is particularly concern of flooding after the devastating impact of the floods last year.
