HPD has identified the fallen officer as William "Bill" Jeffrey. He was killed this morning after being with the department for more than 30 years. He and another officer, Sgt. Michael Vance, were serving a high-level narcotics warrant in Harris County.

New: LMPD Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly (who is being investigated as part of Breonna Taylor’s case) sent an email to around 1,000 officers at 2am that calls protestors thugs, complains about the government enforcing civil rights violations, and claims this is "good versus evil”
Their names were Staff Sgt. Christopher K.A. Slutman, Cpl. Robert Hendriks, and Sgt. Benjamin S. Hines. Their families deserve to know if the Russians had anything to do with their deaths, or any other US servicemembers. And interviewers should at the very least ask about it.
