The head of the D.C. National Guard says it took more than three hours for senior military leaders to approve a request to send troops to the Capitol on Jan. 6, despite a “frantic” plea from the Capitol Police chief

@SenRickScott  asked witnesses if they knew of any threat that justified keeping National Guard at Capitol. No one knew of any. Time to thank the Guard for their service and send them home to their families. We certainly don’t need the Guard and concertina wire-topped fencing.

“I was actually on the phone with Leader Hoyer who was pleading with us to send the guard,” Maryland Gov. Hogan. But Hogan said Maj. Gen. Timothy Gowen, head of the Maryland National Guard, was *repeatedly rebuffed by the head of the National Guard on the federal level.* Why?

Remember: Joe Biden called them "peaceful protesters." Kamala Harris raised money to bail violent rioters out of jail. And they both continue to oppose @realDonaldTrump 's plan to send in the National Guard to finally end these violent riots once and for all. #BidenRiots

I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis. A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right.....

Ted Wheeler has blood on his hands. He decided to play politics and refused @realDonald Trump's offer to send the National Guard to end the riots and now an innocent Trump supporter is dead at the hands of the radical leftwing mob because of it. He's a disgrace!!!

If @JoeBiden  cares about stopping the violence & ending these riots in Portland, all he has to do is pick up the phone & tell Ted Wheeler to accept @realDonaldTrump 's offer to send the National Guard. He refuses to do that though bc he rather play politics than show leadership.

Never forget: Joe Biden had his chance to put an end to these riots weeks ago, but instead he chose to play politics because he thought it would hurt @realDonaldTrump . He called the rioters "peaceful protesters" and opposed Trump's plan to send in the National Guard. #BidenRiots

BREAKING NOW: Trump to Send National Guard to Kenosha, Wisconsin at Governor’s Request

1. There’s an insurrection taking place now.  Anarchy. The governors must send in the National Guard. The president must now lay the legal predicate for potentially sending in the regular military.

1. Anarchy and violence must be met with force. Time to federalize the National Guard and send in the regular military to end the arson, looting, and rioting, and end the wanton destruction of neighborhoods, churches, and businesses in our cities.
