Georgia’s Sen. David Perdue is accused of shady stock deals again just weeks ahead of his runoff race

Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Georgia Sen. Perdue saw a stock buying opportunity.

U.S. Sen. David Perdue, when questioned earlier this year about stock trading on his behalf during the coronavirus, said decision-making was handled by financial advisers and without his input. A New York Times report now calls that into question.

Although the DOJ declined to pursue charges against Sen. David Perdue for insider trading, his Democratic opponent Jon Ossoff doubled down on calling him a "crook" for "exploiting his power to enrich himself while his own constituents are suffering and dying" #CNNSOTU
