Wish I could share with everyone the beauty and majesty of being in the White House and looking outside at the snow filled lawns and Rose Garden. Really is something - SPECIAL COUNTRY, SPECIAL PLACE!

Here is what was happening outside the White House as President Trump was giving his Rose Garden address and saying he is an “ally of all peaceful protestors.” Peaceful protestors being tear gassed outside of the WH gates. I confirmed because I was teargassed along with them.

I will be delivering brief remarks from the Rose Garden at 6:30 P.M. Eastern to update on the Federal Response.

In the Rose Garden, Trump calls himself "an ally of all peaceful protesters." At the very same moment outside the White House, police and troops have moved against peaceful protesters with tear gas and flash bangs.

In a letter to her House colleagues, Nancy Pelosi said: “President Trump had a temper tantrum for us all to see.” This is not true. I was purposely very polite and calm, much as I was minutes later with the press in the Rose Garden. Can be easily proven. It is all such a lie!

We can hear the explosions from the streets as Trump is speaking in the Rose Garden.

Unbelievable deception from CNN during Trump’s Rose Garden address. They showed DC protests in a double box (like MSNBC), but kept the sound up on each to make it seem like you could hear the protesters clashing with police while Trump spoke. Just journalistic malpractice.

Stunning. President Trump says nothing about Minnesota as the nation is on edge and leaves the Rose Garden without taking questions.

The White House will be hosting a very big and very important Social Media Summit today. Would I have become President without Social Media? Yes (probably)! At its conclusion, we will all go to the beautiful Rose Garden for a News Conference on the Census and Citizenship.
