I've heard LOTS of people saying they wish Ford wasn't premier. But most of those people are wishing it was Christine Elliott, not Kathleen Wynne. I dunno. Despite it all, I still cling to some weird naive beliefs. One of them is that better actually always is possible. +

Ford definitely hasn't hit that ceiling, or come even close, but I truly do worry that even brilliant, damn-near perfect leadership from any hypothetical premier would have mattered a lot less than we want to admit. +
