Today is #NakbaDay , marking 73 years since Palestinians were forcibly removed from their homes during Israel's creation. 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their towns and villages in 1948, most becoming refugees as 78% of Palestine was turned into Israel.

I stand with the Palestinian people. My heart aches for the families who have lost loved ones. We can not stand as silent witnesses to children being orphaned and murdered and not demand for the human rights of all Palestinians! This must end. Free Palestine.

I am extremely concerned by the growing conflict in Israel and Palestine. Once again we are seeing how the irresponsible actions of government-allied right-wing extremists in Jerusalem can escalate quickly into devastating war.
