Rainfall returns this evening, as a frontal boundary remains south of the Ohio River. This lifts slightly north overnight, as the Low pressure core slides through the Ohio River Valley. Heavy rainfall is expected tonight, south of I-70, with upwards of 1.50 inches possible.

Strong southerly wind gusts increase Wednesday (25-35mph), then again Thursday (30-40mph). This will usher additional dry air over the region, lowering relative humidity values into the 20s-30s across much of the Midwest and Ohio River Valley.
