It would be unsafe for students to visit test centres physically amid #COVID19  for JEE (Main) & NEET tests. Therefore, it is requested that exams scheduled to be held in September may be postponed to a later date: Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in a letter to Union Education Minister

Went to West Bengal and Odisha to review the situation caused by the super cyclone. Conducted an aerial survey and held review meetings with the respective Chief Ministers@MamataOfficial  and @Naveen_Odisha , as well as authorities.

My prayers, thoughts & love to those affected by the devastation caused by cyclone Amphan in Bengal & Odisha. The news has left me feeling hollow. Each & everyone of them is my own. Like my family. We must stay strong through these testing times until we can smile together again.

My thoughts are with the people of Odisha as the state bravely battles the effects of Cyclone Amphan. Authorities are working on the ground to ensure all possible assistance to the those affected. I pray that the situation normalises at the earliest.

Tomorrow, PM @narendramodi  will travel to West Bengal and Odisha to take stock of the situation in the wake of Cyclone Amphan. He will conduct aerial surveys and take part in review meetings, where aspects of relief and rehabilitation will be discussed.
