A pleasure of writing about tech policy under Trump is the chance to quote people from @CKinstitute  and @publicknowledge  agreeing fully on the foolishness of an administration policy. (Yet I'd still rather go back to endless net-neutrality fights.)

A proposal to make the FCC rewrite a law through administrative rulemaking would threaten small social sites and generate vast amounts of new business for trial lawyers. Expect some of the people who denounced net-neutrality regulations to cheer it on.

An AT&T subsidiary paying another AT&T subsidiary to exempt its streaming video from its data caps seems to show some serious disregard of net-neutrality principles--but it's also likely to be one of the more ineffectual transgressions of them.

This is the end of the internet as we know it. In Congress and in the courts we must fight back. #NetNeutrality
