The Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C. reopened Friday after being closed because of the pandemic. The number of visitors will be limited to 5,000 per day and guests must get passes in advance. Face coverings and social distancing are required

Even though the coronavirus pandemic has turned the world upside down for months, you’ll notice that very little has changed inside the National Zoo in its first weekend back open to the public.
