The Red Flag Warnings for the lower elevations in the Bay Area as well as Santa Cruz Mtns have been allowed to expire. But the Red Flag Warning for the North Bay Mtns and East Bay Hills continues until 5 pm Tuesday. We've also adjusted our expected winds. Stay Safe!

A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the North Bay Mtns, East Bay Hills and the Santa Cruz Mtns valid starting at 5 AM PDT on Wed. lasting through Fri. at 11 AM PDT. Offshore winds over higher terrain is expected to be gusty with dry conditions in place. #CAwx  #CAfire

Rain is in the forecast.....if you live on the Central Coast. Rain is possible all the way up to the Santa Cruz Mtns and the East Bay Hills. But accumulations (image) will be minimal. SE Monterey Co. will have the most. Dry conditions & mild temps prevail for the region. #CAwx

The Fire Weather Watch begins at 4 AM PST Wed for the North Bay Mtns, East Bay Hills, & Diablo Range. A combination of the offshore winds, low relative humidity values, & unseasonably dry fuels will likely lead to critical fire weather conditions for the higher elevations. #CAwx
