The ministry of corporate affairs announced a new set of disclosures rules under the Companies Act on Wednesday, significantly enhancing financial and general reporting requirements for companies.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has asked all companies in the country to compulsorily disclose any holdings or dealings in #cryptocurrency  or any other virtual currency in their balance sheets.

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs seeks company-wise disclosure on cryptocurrencies, asks companies to share details of holdings and trades starting April 1 making it mandatory to disclose profits or losses incurred in the previous financial year. @TimsyJaipuria  reports.
