The Shandan Horse Ranch#Railway Station, at an altitude of over 3,000 meters in NW China's Gansu, started operation on Sunday. Bullet trains, which can take passengers to Lanzhou, Xi'an, Urumqi, Jiayuguan and Dunhuang, will pull into the station every day.
The Shandan Horse Ranch Railway Station of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway started operation on Sunday in Zhangye City, NW China's Gansu. Situated at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, it is the highest high-speed railway station in the world.

A tunnel on lanzhou'>Chengdu-Lanzhou railway in Longmenshan Fault Zone was finally drilled through on Sunday after the construction of 3,160 days. The railway with a designed speed of 200km/h runs on the plateau sitting 3,000 meters above sea level. The drilled tunnel is 19.981km long.
