First, Amnesty International plays into Kremlin propagandist hands by revoking @navalny ⁩’s prisoner of conscience status, then this disturbing piece suggesting that now is the time for the US to be offering Putin carrots. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Kremlin: Putin had no face-to-face contacts with his aide who tested positive for COVID-19

"You have to take sides. You are either for Putin or you are for Navalny." My profile of @navalny  , who continues to antagonize the Kremlin even from inside a prison colony (despite the lingering questions about what he stands for)

With Vladimir Putin’s popularity already in decline, news of the United States’ latest round of sanctions on Russia has alarmed the Kremlin, prompting its cast of experts, advisers, and anti-American ideologues to float several possible responses

“Putin’s primary goal is to make Navalny silent.” CNN’s Erin Burnett speaks with Sergey Aleksashenko, former deputy chairman of Russia’s Central Bank and associate of Kremlin critic Alexey Navalny about his ordeal and the Biden administration issuing sanctions against Russia.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted in English and Russian to the Kremlin’s Twitter account, asking President Vladimir Putin to join him on the social media platform.

The Biden admin's decision is being seen as a clear break from its predecessor's policy with regard to the Kremlin, as former President Donald Trump had a notoriously friendly relationship toward Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has landed in Moscow, where he faces the threat of arrest. President Vladimir Putin’s most prominent foe spent five months in Germany recovering from poisoning by a nerve agent, which he blames on the Kremlin.

Another day, another scandalous betrayal of our national security by this president. Another dishonest tweet that sounds like it could have been written in the Kremlin. Another obsequious display towards Putin. And yet another reason that Trump can’t leave office fast enough.

The Kremlin has confirmed Pres Trump and Putin spoke today, per @Reuters

Americans are outraged by reports that Russia offered bounties on U.S. troops. The only American who isn't? Donald Trump. Trump is again taking the Kremlin’s side and calling it a hoax. This is no hoax, Mr. President. But it is time you put our troops first, instead of Putin.

Deroy Murdock, National Review: “We are now exporting oil, which is the first time in my lifetime - we are right now the largest producer of oil and gas. This is not good if you’re Vladimir Putin where your chief export is oil. W.H. Agent - Not good for Kremlin.”

Remarkable that we know @realDonaldTrump  spoke with Putin yesterday only because the KREMLIN read out the call.

It’s been nearly 24 hours since Trump spoke to Putin and still no WH acknowledgement or readout of the call. Kremlin’s readout came immediately after, stating they discussed issues of “mutual interest”. - What issues? - Who from US was on call? - Why let Russia readout first?

After his summit with Putin, Republicans can no longer ignore the fact that, whether he is or not, Trump acts like he’s compromised. Why else would he side with Putin, a former KGB officer, over his own intelligence agencies, bash Europe and favor the Kremlin over NATO allies?

The next time you hear Trump claim that he's "tough" on Russia, remember that he has: --Weakened NATO and the EU --Given Putin cover on Crimea --Repeated Kremlin talking points --Ignored election interference --Lifted sanctions on key oligarch --Disregarded US intelligence

@POTUS  must raise Russia's interference in our election with Putin, or the Kremlin will conclude he is too weak to confront them directly.
