Last night, we made history and confirmed Amy Coney Barrett to the United States Supreme Court! Justice Barrett will defend our rights, our liberties, and our God-Given FREEDOM!

Amy Coney Barrett's commitment to the Constitution makes her an outstanding addition to the Supreme Court. Congratulations to President @realDonaldTrump  for his excellent choice, @senatemajldr  for running a fair process, and Justice Barrett for her incredible achievement!

Chief Justice John Roberts said in Shelby County v. Holder that no one doubts discrimination in voting still exists. I asked Judge Barrett whether she agreed with that statement or not. She refused to comment.

During her confirmation hearing, Justice Ginsburg said the right to choose was “essential to women’s equality.” We already know where Judge Barrett stands on a woman’s right to choose. Her writings made it clear. It would be a disgrace to appoint her to Justice Ginsburg’s seat.

Trump’s hand-picked successor to Justice Ginsburg’s seat makes it clear: they intend to destroy the Affordable Care Act & overturn Roe. This selection would move the court further right for a generation & harm millions of Americans. I strongly oppose Judge Barrett’s nomination.
