We lost Jonathan Pitre two years ago today. He chose to be positive and hopeful every day of his life, despite constant, unthinkable pain. If he could do that, surely we can try to do the same today.

The City of Ottawa announced this week that a new elementary school will be named after Jonathan Pitre. Jonathan, known as “The Butterfly Child” had a spirit that will live on forever. In 2015, he brought us this unforgettable moment.
