Henry N. Cobb, an I.M. Pei partner who designed some of the country’s most prominent buildings, including Boston’s blue-glass John Hancock Tower, the tallest building in New England, has died. He was 93.

This is the John Hancock Tower. There’s an observatory on the 94th floor.
