Jeff Bezos could give every Amazon employee $105,000 and still be as rich as he was before the pandemic. If that doesn't convince you we need a wealth tax, I'm not sure what will.

So let me get this straight: Jeff Bezos is now worth $200 billion, but Amazon still can't afford to provide paid sick leave, hazard pay and personal protective equipment for thousands of warehouse workers?

The fact that Jeff Bezos increased his wealth by $13 billion in 1 day during a pandemic, while his employees struggle to make ends meet and 50 million Americans are filing for unemployment, tells you a great deal about how our economy is rigged in favor of the billionaire class.

Unfettered capitalism is Jeff Bezos making $8,961,187 per hour but refusing to provide paid sick leave for all of his employees.

So let me get this straight: Jeff Bezos has grown his fortune by $24,000,000,000 during this pandemic, but he still can't afford to provide sick leave to all of his employees?

Jeff Bezos' D.C. mansion will have: — 2 elevators — 25 bathrooms — 1,006 light fixtures — A full movie theater Amazon's Whole Foods cut health benefits for part-time workers less than 2 months ago. Tax the rich.
