Here are the names of the 200+ slaves owned by Kamala Harris’ ancestor Hamilton Brown in Jamaica in 1817. One of the largest planters in Jamaica, Brown now has a town named after him, Brown’s Town

(1) Kamala Harris’ father revealed his family is descended from one of Jamaica’s largest slave planters. This means Kamala is descended not from slaves but from slaveowners. Two facts makes Donald Harris’ claims credible:

Kamala Harris is directly descended from one of the largest slaveowners in Jamaica, Hamilton Brown—there is a even a town named after him, Brown Town. So doesn’t it follow she’s a beneficiary, not a victim, of slavery?

According to this research report, Kamala Harris’ ancestor Hamilton Brown owned seven plantations in Jamaica in 1817. He employed more than 200 slaves whose first names are listed here

The supreme irony is that the party of slavery that demands public dissociation from all connections with slavery has nominated for the vice presidency a woman who is the descendant & beneficiary of one of the largest slave planters in Jamaica. How do they get out of this one?

Kamala Harris’s mom is Asian Indian. Her dad Donald Harris is by his own account descended from one of the largest slave planters in Jamaica. In what sense then can she claim the African American experience of being descended from slaves and subject to segregation and Jim Crow?

The “first Black woman” hoopla is based on the idea that finally a female descendant of slaves can make it all the way to the White House. The problem is that Kamala Harris is descended from one of Jamaica’s largest slaveowners. This exposes the whole morality tale as a farce!
