EYE ON HEALTH: Mental Health America recently released its annual report, which focused on two areas: the prevalence of mental health conditions and access to treatment. #CHAnews 

Health officials have issued a hepatitis A exposure notification for a Whistler, B.C., restaurant, and recommended vaccination for customers who were potentially exposed to the virus.

Federal health officials say millions more Americans can get a COVID-19 booster and choose a different vaccine for that next shot. Certain people who received Pfizer vaccinations months ago already are eligible for a booster.

More mental health beds are coming to the Chippewa Valley after the authorized release of state funding.

A health expert told @RosemondCrown   the effects of drinking unpotable water can be dangerous. “It could get nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, some bloody stool,” she said.

The Hawaii State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) will be offering assistance on October 22 & 29 and November 9 & 19 on Oahu, with phone and video counseling options also available.
