Leslie Bricusse, a composer and lyricist who contributed to Broadway hits like “Stop the World — I Want to Get Off” and films like “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and “Goldfinger,” died on Tuesday. He was 90.

“When you tell people to get under their desks in a building that’s going to collapse, you are going to have a problem,” Goldfinger said, adding that in some situations, evacuating the building would be a better strategy. Read the full story: (11/11)

Oscar-winning British songwriter Leslie Bricusse has died at age 90. His work included James Bond themes (“Goldfinger,” “You Only Live Twice”) and the much-loved Willy Wonka tune "The Candy Man."

RIP Honor Blackman, 94. A wonderful actress, and my favourite of all the Bond girls when she played Pussy Galore in Goldfinger. She died of natural causes. Her family said she was ‘an extraordinary combination of beauty, brains and physical prowess’. Yes she was. What a life.
