There’s a lot of unbelievable superstar talents to marvel at in the NBA. Having done the G-League Showcase for ESPN the last two years it’s made me appreciate those guys who’ve made it thru there. Like just watching Shake Milton hit that crazy lay up. So awesome, man.

Tucker, undrafted out of Arkansas-Little Rock, made a strong impression on several teams at G-League Showcase. He'll get a guaranteed deal for rest of season, per sources. Utah waiving Jeff Green to create roster spot, per source.

Interesting note on the James Wiseman news -- a couple of NBA execs at the G-League Showcase were not overly surprised and wondered how many more of the top 2020 Draft guys will follow suit. It's becoming clear teams will draft these guys whether they play or not.

Good news for the @DFenders  - Zach Norvell (formerly a two-way with the LA Lakers) did join the G-League and will re-join SB - he'll play w/the team at the showcase in Vegas (i'm heading there as well). LA Lakers basically swapped out Cacok (now a 2-way) for Norvell (UFA)

It’ll presumably be harder this year to find solid players for 10-day contracts because many good G-League players are already locked into two-way contracts with NBA teams. G-League Showcase begins Wednesday near Toronto. Lakers will have front-office reps there.
