Odisha: A 10-feet-long King Cobra rescued from a temple in Ganjam District of Behrampur by Forest Department, yesterday. It was later released into the forest area.
Telangana: State forest department seized around 4 kgs of pangolin scales and detained 12 persons from various locations including Hyderabad, Kothagudem and Bhadrachalam. Further investigation underway. (03.08.2020)

Gujarat: Forest Department officials yesterday rescued a crocodile that strayed into Khodiyar Mata temple in Mahisagar district; the rescue was allegedly delayed due to the villagers who gathered at the temple to offer prayers to the crocodile.
