At hrng, fmr USCP Chief Sund says Capitol Police are ready for a "Mumbai" style attack. But he says not an attack from thousands of people. He advocates for some type of outer perimeter. He says "time and distance are our best friend."
“Anybody inside that building... ought to be face down in handcuffs right now,” says fmr. DC police chief Charles Ramsey. It’s the first time the Capitol has been breached since the British burned the building in August 1814, according to the U.S. Capitol Historical Society.
