Congratulations to Kristy McBain for her victory in Eden Monaro and the hard working volunteers who laboured under such difficult conditions. Delighted at the attention we drew to our issues. As painful as leaving has been this has made it all a little bit easier.
Misinformation emails being sent to voters inside Eden Monaro, as reported on @RNBreakfast just now. Notably similar hallmarks here to emails sent during Wentworth by-election. Kristy McBain, Fiona Kotvojs and Catholic Bishops Conference all condemn the emails and the content.

Been a rough day today but I couldn’t end it without sending my heart felt love and thanks to all of you who have passed on your best wishes. I hope to find other ways to serve but I know nothing will ever match the privilege it has been to represent Eden Monaro.
