I remember going to the West Wing in the fall of 2014. My meeting was running late. The whole place was buzzing. A young staff assistant said, "Sorry, it's been crazy here. It's Ebola 24/7." You know how many confirmed Ebola cases we ended up having in the U.S.? FOUR.

It's #WorldImmunizationWeek ! Vaccine-preventable diseases include: Cervical cancer Cholera Diphtheria Ebola Hep B Influenza Japanese encephalitis Measles Meningitis Mumps Pertussis Pneumonia Polio Rabies Rotavirus Rubella Tetanus Typhoid Varicella Yellow Fever Yes, #VaccinesWork !

He fought and survived Ebola, and now he's on the frontline of #COVID19  in NYC. This is a day working in the ER, as told by Dr @Craig_A_Spencer .

Covid is more dangerous than the flu (but not for young people). So wear a mask and social distance. Covid does not justify treating covid like airborne ebola -- confining entire healthy populations to their homes, or unleashing the authorities to break up family gatherings.

A Poll in today’s New York Post says that 77% of “U.S. adults have confidence in their government’s ability to handle the Coronavirus (Number One), compared to other health threats.” 64% for Zika, 58% for Ebola. Others way down on list. Our professionals are doing a great job!

This pandemic is far from over––and our medical professionals continue to put their lives on the line to keep our country going. @JoeBiden  and I had a chance to thank Dr. @Craig_A_Spencer  for his work during the Ebola crisis and this current pandemic.

Spanish Flu. West Nile Virus. Zika. Ebola. All named for places. Before the media’s fake outrage, even CNN called it “Chinese Coronavirus.” Those trying to divide us must stop rooting for America to fail and give Americans real info they need to get through the crisis.

The last Ebola patient has been discharged from a treatment centre in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A 42-day countdown has begun to declare the end of the world's second-deadliest Ebola epidemic.

Trump is golfing today. In 2014 on Fox and Friends he criticized Obama for golfing when there were *two cases* of Ebola in the United States saying, "it sends the wrong signal" and he should have given up golf as president "to really focus on the job."

I don’t think people appreciate just how bad Donald Trump was during the Ebola outbreak of 2014. Here’s a short list of the things he said, which were amplified (rather inexplicably) by the media. (Seriously, what was the reason for that?)
