Colts rookie WR Michael Pittman Jr say she reached out to a few of his new teammates — QB Jacob Eason, WR Dezmon Patmon — in hopes they'd get some workouts in together this spring. "Let's throw," he wrote. The three got in several throwing sessions on the west coast.

ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. has former Georgia QB Jacob Eason going to New England with the 23rd pick overall in the first round.

John C. Eason Jr. (right) became the first African American in the @USPHS  Commissioned Corps on October 13, 1943. He supervised health missions to Greece, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Paraguay, and Turkey, but served in Baltimore, Kentucky and Chicago too.
