George Mason, delegate to Constitutional Convention, said in 1788 that a President should not have power to pardon because he might "pardon crimes which were advised by himself. It may happen, at some future day, that he will establish a monarchy, and destroy the republic."

The question is not whether Trump has committed impeachable crimes. He has. The question is whether Republicans in Congress will affirm that an American president is not above the law.

For those who were convicted of lying to cover up his crimes, Trump urges lighter sentences and dangles pardons. He demands his enemies be investigated and prosecuted. He retaliates against witnesses and public servants. Republicans’ response? Silence.

Roger Stone was found guilty of lying to Congress and threatening a witness. He did it to cover up for Trump. His sentence is justified. It should go without saying, but to pardon Stone when his crimes were committed to protect Trump would be a breathtaking act of corruption.

The president is an unindicted co-conspirator in federal crimes and he has nominated someone to the Supreme Court who believes a sitting president should never be indicted. Retweet if you agree that Kavanaugh’s hearings should be delayed until these investigations are completed.

Pelosi doesn’t want to hand over The Articles of Impeachment, which were fraudulently produced by corrupt politicians like Shifty Schiff in the first place, because after all of these years of investigations and persecution, they show no crimes and are a joke and a scam!
