Tropical Storm Isaias is barreling up the East Coast this morning. A tornado watch has been issued for several major northeast cities, including NYC and Philly, until 4 p.m. The watch includes parts of Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.

Town clerks say that more than 20,000 Connecticut voters who requested absentee ballots haven’t yet received them due to a mix-up by the state, leaving local officials racing to get them in the hands of voters in time for the election
