The @FBI  has pinpointed a suspect in its investigation into the death of a US #Capitol  Police officer in the Jan. 6 attack on Congress by supporters of then-President Donald#Trump , the @nytimes  reported on Friday.

Tensions are high in Congress as many Democrats believe that the Republicans who voted against certifying the 2020 election were essentially cheering on the Jan. 6 mob’s effort to kill them. The atmosphere is more distrustful than anyone can remember.
