The Zondo commission wants former president Jacob Zuma kitted out in an orange jumpsuit for at least two years for his continued defiance of summonses for him to testify before the inquiry into state capture.

The Zondo Commission of Inquiry into State Capture has called on the apex court to sentence former President Jacob Zuma to two years in prison for contempt of its ruling that he appear before the inquiry and answer questions. | @karynmaughan 

JUST IN: The #ConstitutionalCourt  has ruled that former President Jacob#Zuma  is ordered to obey all summonses and directives lawfully issued by the state capture commission. He does not have the right to remain silent in proceedings before the commission. TTM

The South African Federation of Trade Unions is calling for President Cyril Ramaphosa to be summoned before the state capture commission. This after former Eskom CEO Brian Molefe made damning allegations about him. #DStv403 

Minister Pravin Gordhan has admitted at the State Capture Commission in Johannesburg that he doesn’t have all the evidence against all the people he has accused of corruption.

BREAKING: Deputy Chief Justice RaymondZondo has requested Secretary of Commission to law criminal complaint with @SAPoliceService  against Fmr President Zuma for walking out of State Capture Inqury. Everyone is equal before the law, Zondo says.

BREAKING: DCJ Zondo says Fmr President Zuma has left the State Capture inquity without his permission. This is a “serious matter” Zondo says. “It is a pity that he has elected to leave without asking for permission.” Commission will “reflect”.

Fmr Public Protector Thuli Madonsela says Duduzane Zuma lied to Zondo commission when he testified that she had failed to give him the opportunity to respond to damaging state capture claims against him. She says investigators even offered to travel to Dubai to speak to him.
