Officers calling for @SeattleFire  for a woman apparently going into labor on the east side of Cal Anderson Park.

A wildfire continues to burn in Santa Clara County near Lake Anderson this morning. The fire broke out around midnight and has grown to 100 acres, according to Cal Fire. @ReynaHarveyBell  reports:

#UPDATE : The Park Fire near Anderson Reservoir outside Morgan Hill is holding at 343 acres and is now 80% contained, Cal Fire says.

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan issued an emergency order directing protesters to leave the area of the CHOP, Capitol Hill Organized Protest, and Cal Anderson Park area.

Officers continue to give dispersal orders and are checking Cal Anderson restrooms. Police will be clearing north end of the park soon. Thank you to the individuals affiliated with the CHOP who have assisted officers in encouraging people to safely leave the area.

Police arrested at least 44 people while officers evacuated the CHOP zone and Cal Anderson Park.

Updated information on today's East Precinct operations and arrests: Mayor Durkan's Executive Order for the East Precinct/Cal Anderson area remains in effect this evening.

Due to ongoing violence and public safety issues in the East Precinct/Cal Anderson Park area. Mayor Jenny Durkan has issued an executive order to vacate the area. Seattle police will be in the area this morning enforcing the Mayor’s order.
