REVISITED: 737 Max grounding tests Southwest's relationship with Boeing

Alaska Air earnings plunge, but execs of the Seattle-based airline also said they are weighing an order for the Boeing 737 MAX.

Boeing’s 737 Max may soon gain clearance to fly again, but its troubles are far from over

What do I know about branding, maybe nothing (but I did become President!), but if I were Boeing, I would FIX the Boeing 737 MAX, add some additional great features, & REBRAND the plane with a new name. No product has suffered like this one. But again, what the hell do I know?

NASA, which is making a BIG comeback under the Trump Administration, has just named 9 astronauts for Boeing and Spacex space flights. We have the greatest facilities in the world and we are now letting the private sector pay to use them. Exciting things happening. Space Force!

American capitalism in a nutshell: The same day it was announced that Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg will receive a $62 million golden parachute... ...2800 workers in Boeing's supply chain were laid off. Corporations reward execs even when they screw up, but workers get shafted.

Boeing is building a brand new 747 Air Force One for future presidents, but costs are out of control, more than $4 billion. Cancel order!

I am pleased to announce that our very talented Deputy Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, will assume the title of Acting Secretary of Defense starting January 1, 2019. Patrick has a long list of accomplishments while serving as Deputy, & previously Boeing. He will be great!

....Other aspects of the deal are also great - technology, financial services, 16-20 Billion in Boeing Planes etc., but WOW, the Farmers really hit pay dirt! @ChuckGrassley  @joniernst  @debfisher  @BenSasse  Thank you to all Republicans in Congress for your invaluable help!

Why didn't Boeing do it right? Why isn't FB protecting user passwords? Why is Phillip Morris allowed to promote vaping? Why hasn't Wells Fargo reformed itself? Why hasn't Monsanto (now Bayer) recalled its Roundup Weedkiller? Answer: Corporate greed coupled with inept regulators.

A software fix to the Boeing 737 MAX was delayed for months as discussions between regulators and Boeing dragged on—and U.S. officials said the government shutdown halted work on the fix for five weeks.
