@JoeBiden  just told us he will “be a president for all Americans.” I believe him for Central Americans & South Americans. But when it comes to U.S. citizens who are not black, or Hispanic, Asian, native American, or Pacific Islander, and not women or transgendered—not so much.

In November 2020, 81,283,485 Americans voted for a multi-ethnic, pluralistic, liberal democracy, literally embodied in a scrappy son of Scranton & our first female, Black & South Asian American Vice President. The next @POTUS  & @VP  show our kids what remains possible in the USA.

I join all Americans in celebrating the history that was made today, three times over: Kamala Harris is the first woman, Black American, and South Asian American Vice President. I know she will continue to make our country proud.
