Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo vowed on Wednesday, Dec. 1 to prioritize the construction of an expressway and a railroad that will connect her home region of Bicol to other urban areas in the name of “rural development”.

Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo believes that her relationship with local politicians in her home region of Bicol is one that is “personal” and “beyond politics.”

The northeast monsoon, locally known as ‘amihan’, is affecting a huge part of Luzon, while the trough of typhoon ‘Nyatoh’ will bring scattered rain showers in eastern Visayas and Bicol region, said the PAGASA on Thursday, Dec. 2.
