A judge on Wednesday ruled that the Pima County Board of Supervisors mandated curfew violated Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey’s executive order that prohibits cities and counties from imposing stricter coronavirus restrictions in the state.
"The day after Gov. Doug Ducey downplayed Arizona's recent spikes in daily COVID-19 cases, the state's numbers continued to climb on Friday, with a record high for new cases reported and a record high for inpatient hospitalizations."
Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said on Tuesday that professional sports, including MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL, can resume without fans on Saturday.
