We're still working in Syria. We're still working in Yemen. We're still working in Afghanistan. We're still working in South Sudan. We're still working in 100 countries across the world. We won't neglect people caught up in conflict during the #covid19  pandemic.

Pakistan has garnered the dubious honour of having the fourth weakest passport in the world behind only war-torn Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, according to the Henley Passport Index. You can read our complete story here: #etribune  #Pakistanipassport

“I am concerned that we might be drawn into any regional conflict” in the Middle East, says Senator@ChrisCoons . Americans “are tired of the decades-long wars that we’ve been engaged in, in Afghanistan, in Iraq, more recently in Syria.”

Unlike the former President, who abruptly decided to withdraw from Syria and Afghanistan without consulting our allies and partners, President Biden has spoken at length with our NATO allies and other partners and met with military, intelligence, and diplomatic advisors.

#Opinion : Each time the US waged a war, it chanted the slogan of freedom, democracy and human rights. But what about the millions of lives lost in the wars in the Korean Peninsula, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo and Syria?

Hey everybody, we are at war in 3 different countries - Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria - and inching toward conflict in 2 more - Venezuela and Iran - AND WE HAVEN'T HAD A SECRETARY OF DEFENSE FOR FIVE MONTHS.

I inherited a total mess in Syria and Afghanistan, the “Endless Wars” of unlimited spending and death. During my campaign I said, very strongly, that these wars must finally end. We spend $50 Billion a year in Afghanistan and have hit them so hard that we are now talking peace...

Senior retired officer: “His rebuilding the US military is a fiction, but the so-called ‘joke’ is his humiliation of it in Syria, and Iraq, and now in Afghanistan. I don’t think the military and the veterans will forget that.”

It was great meeting some of our outstanding young military personnel who were wounded in both Syria and Afghanistan. Their wounds are deep but their spirit is sooo high. They will recoverer & be back very soon. America loves them. Walter Reed Hospital is AMAZING - Thank you all!

When I became President, ISIS was out of control in Syria & running rampant. Since then tremendous progress made, especially over last 5 weeks. Caliphate will soon be destroyed, unthinkable two years ago. Negotiating are proceeding well in Afghanistan after 18 years of fighting..

We spend more on our military than the next 10 nations combined. American troops have been in Afghanistan for nearly 18 years, Iraq since 2003 and in Syria since 2015. We're going to invest in housing, public education and infrastructure, not never-ending wars.

I have never been prouder of President Donald Trump. In today’s meeting, he stood up for a strong America and steadfastly opposed foreign wars. Putting America First means declaring victory in Afghanistan and Syria. President Trump is delivering on his promises.

I stand with . It is time to bring our troops home from Afghanistan and Syria. It is ludicrous to call withdrawal after 17 years "precipitous."

Instead of passing resolutions calling for US troops to stay even longer in Syria & Afghanistan, my colleagues in the Senate should applaud ending these wars and learn how to declare VICTORY. The warmonger caucus is up in arms that is delivering on a promise!

Here’s the fundamental problem, Mr. President: After 17 years at war in Afghanistan, 15 years in Iraq, and now 7 years of war in Syria, the mission is seldom accomplished. Something you should consider before embroiling us further.
