Guess what? A Zoom-based world is not what teens want. They want to socialize -- and F2F interactions are dreadfully missed. Here's a longer reflection I wrote:
Gave my first Zoom-based colloquium today, for @Perimeter . It’s an odd thing to give a talk while sitting alone in a room, neither seeing nor hearing your audience! But I think it went well! It should be up on in a week or so, I think.
Also, Happy Passover to all those celebrating! Today, local friends invited us to a Zoom-based matzoh-baking session this afternoon—so I (a secular goy who has enjoyed many previous Passovers!) made some, because why not. (Not seen here was my first matzoh—VERY burned.)
