This Westpac AUSTRAC story is huge...when Commonwealth Bank settled for similar issues (but only half as many breaches as Westpac is accused of) the bill was $700m! Surely heads at the very very top of the bank must roll for this, it’s a disgrace.
Amidst Westpac's international transfers disaster (yet more dud management and directors not having a clue about the business), it's nice to find some humour - Stunt Morrison saying it "shows our cop on the beat, Austrac, is doing their job".

The Westpac scandal goes so much deeper than simply holding the CEO accountable. What about the board which had “inadequate oversight” & pushed for profits instead of investment to fix problems. And group executives promoted by the CEO who knew about the problems but did nothing.
