Tomorrow, @SmithsonianNMAI  will break ground on a new memorial that will honor Native American veterans. We wrote about the memorial in 2018, when the final design choice was announced.

#BeforeWeGo  we asked @JadenMotivation  to report on a story of his choice. He chose a new underwater memorial that's honoring military veterans.

@realDonaldTrump  Actually what you've mainly done, #presidentpussyassbitch , is (a) try to undo every positive achievement of Obama's and (b) take credit for those of his that you can't undo (Veterans Choice, the Shell complex in Pennsylvania etc). You basically lie every time you open your mouth.

Trump opens his #AMVETS75th  remarks by referencing changes to VA medical care (sort of). "You used to wait for weeks and weeks and weeks. You don’t wait anymore, you go out and see a private doctor. You’ve been trying to get veterans choice for 44 years. And now you have it."

VA Choice was approved in 2014. VA officials have insisted that when Trump says "VA choice," he means freer rules for veterans to seek outside care and not the specific program. The "44 years" is less clear.

A "source close to Seth Moulton" told @hunterw  the congressman would be "a 'natural' choice for a few Cabinet-level positions...including secretary of state, defense, or veterans affairs, and ambassador to the United Nations."

Donald Trump again said today that he got Veterans Choice approved. This programme was signed into law by President Obama in 2014.

Facts first: The Veterans Choice Program was signed into law by President Obama in 2014 and was co-sponsored by the late Sen. McCain. In 2018, Trump signed a bill to continue the program and eventually consolidated other programs under the new Veterans Community Care Program.
