The Pirates system is no stranger to top-of-the-rotation arms anchoring their list. Much like Taillon, Cole and Glasnow, Mitch Keller is again the team's No. 1 prospect. Our scouting report examines Keller's chances of reaching that lofty potential:

Arms to dream on one day? Here's our Pirates 2023 projected rotation: No. 1: Jameson Taillon No. 2: Mitch Keller No. 3: Joe Musgrove No. 4: Cody Bolton No. 5: Quinn PriesterCloser: Tahnaj Thomas

In addition to non-tendering Diaz, #Pirates  agreed on contract with INF Erik Gonzalez, avoiding arbitration. (Terms not disclosed). The club's eight other arb-eligible players -- Kela, Feliz, Taillon, Bell, Kuhl, Frazier, Musgrove and Williams -- were tendered offers.

Today is deadline for teams to tender offers to arb-eligible players. #Pirates  have 10 such guys (with their projected 2020 salaries): Bell: $5.9M Kela: $3.4M Musgrove: $3.4M Frazier: $3.2M Williams: $3.0M Taillon: $2.3M Diaz: $1.4M Kuhl: $1.4M Feliz: $1.2M Gonzalez: $800,000

More Roster Moves: Chris Archer, Nick Burdi, Kyle Crick, Chad Kuhl, Jason Martin, Gregory Polanco, Edgar Santana & Taillon'>Jameson Taillon reinstated from the 60-day IL. James Marvel, Alex McRae, Yefry Ramirez & Wei-Chung Wang have been outrighted. The 40-man roster now stands at 39.

Ben, Conner, JuJu, Tuitt, Foster, Sean Davis, Crosby, Hornqvist, Letang, Malkin, Bell, Polanco, Taillon ... obviously missing plenty of names on that list. Has 2019 been the worst year ever for Pittsburgh sports injuries?

Pirates also announce they've outrighted pitchers James Marvel, Alex McRae, Yefry Ramirez & Wei-Chung Wang off the 40-man roster while reinstating Chris Archer, Nick Burdi, Kyle Crick, Chad Kuhl, Jason Martin, Gregory Polanco, Edgar Santana & Taillon'>Jameson Taillon from the 60-day IL.

Taillon'>Jameson Taillon isn't ready to close any doors when it comes to him potentially pitching for the Pirates in 2020:

Gerrit Cole, Taillon'>Jameson Taillon, Chad Kuhl, Justin Wilson, Brandon Cumpton. That's the list. If you refuse to sign quality free agents and you can't develop pitchers, what do you do? You trade for them. And we've seen what that can cost.

The @mlbtraderumors  salary predictions for arb-eligible players are usually pretty accurate. Here are #Pirates  eligibles ($26M total): Bell: $5.9M Kela: $3.4M Musgrove: $3.4M Frazier: $3.2M Williams: $3.0M Taillon: $2.3M Diaz: $1.4M Kuhl: $1.4M Feliz: $1.2M Gonzalez: $800,000
