Lisa Tuozzolo honored the memory of her late husband, Paul, – an NYPD sergeant who was killed in the line of duty three years ago – during Sunday’s NYC Marathon. At each mile, officers from Paul’s precinct joined Lisa to help her complete her goal, @MorganRadford reports.

Today we co-named Purdy Street between St. Raymonds Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue in the Bronx in Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo’s honor.
On the day he was killed, Sergeant Paul Tuozzolo responded as a father would to a threat against his own family.
